(Poplar Bluff) A southeast Missouri nail manufacturer says President Trump?s tariffs on steel and aluminum imports could put the company out of business this year.
U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill says Mid Continent Nail Corporation of Poplar Bluff is the last major U.S. nail manufacturer.
McCaskill says the tariffs are already hurting the Poplar Bluff company.
A recent poll from CNN says 6 in 10 Americans are against Trump’s trade tariffs.
