WASHINGTON -- Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill is one of the most independent senators, according to a new non-partisan analysis.

The study by the news magazine "Congressional Quarterly" ranked McCaskill among the five most likely senators of either party to vote against her own party in 2017.

According to the study, 58% of the time, McCaskill voted in support of President Trump's position on a given issue. This is compared to Republican Senator Roy Blunt's 100%.

The study also showed that McCaskill voted in agreement with her party 82% of the time, with Blunt voting in agreement with his party 99% of the time.
