Laclede Electric’s General Manager meets with Senator McCaskill on Rural Broadband

Laclede Electric Cooperative has about 48-hundred miles of electric lines in the service area and to put in broadband internet fiber through the entire service area would cost over a hundred million dollars, and according to Roecker, there isn’t adequate funding to get the job done.
