Subcommittee holds hearing on security at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan

The Subcommittee heard testimony from State Department and contractor officials about allegations of waste, fraud, and abuse in the contract to provide security services at the Embassy. The Subcommittee also released an analysis of internal State Department documents finding that the contractor's performance may have placed the security of the Embassy at risk.
