McCaskill Asks for Information about Defense Department’s Contracts with Alaska Native Corporations

Today Senator Claire McCaskill and Senator John McCain sent a letter to the Defense Department asking for a comprehensive review of all large noncompetitive contracts awarded to Alaska Native Corporations. The letter is a response to the recent indictment of two Defense Department officials and one senior employee of an Alaska Native Corporation who allegedly conspired to defraud the government of more than $20 million.
